The Temple

Last weekend our coordinator Freda took us to see the local temple. I'm so slow at blogging, and we've been pretty busy this week so this post is quite the accomplishment for me. Haha that's so sad. Anyways, I took lots of pictures, so I'll try to just let them speak for themselves.

Adorable old man who lives in our apartment complex. He loved having his picture taken. We would show him the pictures and he would just laugh and laugh.
He's so goofy!
The adorable guard at our gate.
We took motorcycles to the temple. It was a lovely ride through the country side.

Pagoda on the pond at the temple.

Inside one of the temples. Isn't it amazing?

There were literally thousands of these hanging incense spirals.

There were tons of these red papers hanging everywhere in the temples so I asked Freda about them and she said they were wishes that people write and pay to have put up in the temples.

That's a lot of wishes. I hope they come true.

Palm reader.

Freda said this was the beard of the tree.

Until next time, zai jian!
